Sam Nejati has always had a propensity for fine art. Shortly after graduating from The Visual Art School of Tehran, he moved to the United States to pursue his career as an artist and eventually settled in Northern California where he resides today.

His contemporary fine art paintings are a component of many early life experiences that show the purity of his expression. Dynamic compositions emerge through the use of bright, bold and vibrant colors perfectly balanced in complete harmony. Sam often paints with multiple mediums using a palette knife and other rough materials such as saw dust to create texture on his canvases. A first glance reveals merely an abstract painting, but with one’s imagination, lines can transform into landscapes, figures and architectural elements.

Nejati says, "We live in an abstract era in which most things are divided into abbreviated forms of symbolism. My work contains a unity between lines and objects in an objective and nonobjective way. My paintings resemble a purity of expression of the moment. I use a mixture of vibrant and earthy colors on canvas to create unity throughout the composition and convey a sense of relaxation for viewers."
